Making, equipping and unleashing the next generation of radical disciples in Kodiak and around the world.
Rooted is built to help students connect to Christ and other believers. We meet every Wednesday from 6:00PM-8:30PM. Every week, our aim is to enjoy and exalt Christ while encouraging one another. We do this through practical Bible teaching, discussion groups, games and just hanging with each other. Here is a schedule of what a normal night at Rooted looks like:
|
Oasis is a safe place for students of all faith backgrounds to come have fun, connect with wonderful people, and explore Christianity. Each Oasis is built around a theme and the night is usually filled with ridiculous games, costumes, give-aways, food, a Gospel message, and a time to ask questions and discuss issues in life.

D-groups are at the core of what we do as a youth ministry. D-groups are small, intimate discipleship groups of 2-3 guys or girls who meet regularly to help one another fight sin and love Christ more. Each group is led by a youth leader who shares their life with the students, encouraging them to own their faith by helping them establish healthy rhythms of personal Bible study, prayer and biblical fellowship. Students who commit to be a part of a d-group are not only committing to go deeper in their faith but they are also committing to take what they have learned and pour it into others (2 Timothy 2:2).

Our partners ministry exists to love and minister to students with intellectual disabilities. Through intentional peer partnerships and specialized teaching, our students with special needs are integrated into our Wednesday night youth program (Rooted), while learning at a pace that is best for them.

Momentum weekend is a 3 day, discipleship oriented, mid-fall explosion of fun. It’s like youth camp in the middle of the fall but awesomer. Momentum happens every October and is filled with crazy games, compelling teaching and Spirit-filled worship. At Momentum, students spend the weekend having fun together worshipping Jesus, staying at host homes, playing crazy games, studying God's Word and building one another up.

Go Week is a weeklong, service oriented youth event aimed at sharing the love of Christ with our community through service, relationships, and conversations about the Gospel. Students will not only go out and serve, but they will also be equipped to be ambassadors for Christ in their schools and community. Everything we do at Go Week, from the crazy games to the service projects to the meals will be aimed at helping students know and live out the Great Commission in their everyday lives.
