Children's Church

At Berean, we offer Children's Church as an option for families who prefer that their kids learn the word of God on their level. We love having kids stay in the church service; we also love offering targeted teaching to our kids. All our workers are vetted and background checked. Kids are dismissed from the Sunday service to go to Children's Church after the music and just before the sermon. 

At Children's Church, we teach a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study that is on kids' levels.

 Each lesson points kids to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through weekly Bible studies and take home-resources, our kids discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today, encouraging them to join the mission of God.

Our Curriculum

The Gospel Project provides theological yet practical, age-appropriate Bible studies that immerse our entire church in the story of the Gospel, helping to develop a Gospel culture that leads to Gospel mission.

Distinctives

• Family Discipleship - One of the best things about the Gospel Project is that it helps to facilitate family discipleship. It does this by having everyone, young and old, study the same passage at the same time. Through this and some of the additional resources (Lifeway app), the Gospel Project helps to stimulate family discussion that is both edifying and encouraging.
• Chronological Study - Every person in Children's Church is studying the same passage and week-by-week, starting in Genesis 1:1. Over a three-year cycle, we walk through the entirety of Scripture.
• Gospel-Centeredness - We go to great lengths to see every passage in light of the big picture of Scripture, ensuring that whether we are studying Ezekiel or Ephesians, we are learning the Word in light of God's redemptive plan.
